A thank you from CREDO’s June donations recipients

CREDO donates every month thanks to our customers and the revenue they generate. Last month, we funded Friends of the Earth, Project Vote and Stand.earth. Over 55,000 CREDO members voted on how to distribute our donations to these incredible groups. Each and every one of these votes matter to the organizations—and they want to say thanks.

Friends of the Earth
“At Friends of the Earth, we’re working to create a healthy and just world. Your support as a CREDO member helps us protect bees and butterflies from toxic pesticides, fight for GMO labeling, and keep fossil fuels in the ground. You’re bolstering our work to protect people and the planet over corporate special interests. Thank you, CREDO! To learn more, visit foe.org.”

Project Vote
“Project Vote’s mission is to build an electorate that accurately represents the diversity of this nation’s citizenry, and to ensure that every eligible citizen can register, vote and cast a ballot that counts. We are focused on issues around voter registration because we believe that a registered, engaged and representative electorate is the key to a better America. And we are the only organization focused exclusively on voter registration, from policy to practice. Who votes matters. We cannot address the major issues we face today as a nation—issues of racial, criminal, environmental, reproductive and economic justice—until those most affected by the injustices are equally represented at the ballot box. Since our founding in 1994, we’ve worked to increase voter registration and participation among historically underrepresented citizens, and have helped to engage and mobilize an estimated 5.7 million Americans in our democratic process. Thanks to the support of CREDO and its members in this crucial election year, we can continue to fight for a democracy that works for all. Thank you CREDO for your support! Stand.earth
“Many thanks to CREDO and its members! As a result of your strong partnership, advocacy and financial investment, Stand.earth will continue our work to mobilize tens of thousands of our supporters to challenge destructive corporate practices and governmental policies, demand accountability and create solutions that protect our health, wild places and the climate. Our current campaigns focus on stopping deforestation and on challenging crude oil pipelines and oil trains to keep heavily polluting fossil fuels—like tars sand and other extreme oil—in the ground. Our conflict to collaboration approach to advocacy works: we’ve secured the protection of 65 million acres of wilderness and shifted billions of dollars of some of the world’s largest companies toward responsible purchasing. Committed organizers, communicators and facilitators, Stand has a small staff that works to achieve big goals. Thank you for being a part of our team! To learn more, visit stand.earth.”
