NEW VIDEO: Sen. Elizabeth Warren on why we need to #StoptheTPP
We are at a critical moment in the fight against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). Corporate lobbyists and the Obama administration want to ram the deal through a lame-duck Congress after November. Now is the time to raise our voices, talk to friends and family, and mobilize.
That’s why Sen. Elizabeth Warren and CREDO have teamed up to produce this revealing video, in which Sen. Warren exposes a particularly dangerous and undemocratic provision of the TPP called “Investor State Dispute Settlement” or ISDS. Sen. Warren lays out in compelling detail how ISDS allows corporations to bypass traditional courts in favor of unaccountable, industry-friendly “arbitration panels.”

The TPP was forged in secret and will be enforced in secret. We have a chance to build powerful resistance against any attempts to sneak the TPP through Congress if we raise our voices loud and clear.
